Bright Pink Lifting Straps – Cotton Band with GRIP STRAP Panel
Classic lifting straps in a strong, saturated pink, made from 80% cotton and 20% neoprene, with a band roughly 59 cm long and 4 cm wide and a silicone grip panel carrying the GRIP STRAP lettering. You wrap the band around the bar and put the loop around your wrist: the panel adds bite, and the load transfers into the band instead of your grip. Around 4 mm of padding at the wrist keeps the loop from digging in. One size, sold as a pair.
The Loud Pink, Not the Soft One
This is the saturated end of the range: a strong pink that carries across a gym floor, with the GRIP STRAP lettering on the panel. If you want pink that reads as a decision rather than a pastel, this is the one. The light pink version is the soft rosé with the embossed logo instead – same band, same hold, opposite volume.
Wrapped, Not Clipped
A wrapped strap and a hook do the same job in different ways. The band goes round the bar two or three times and tightens itself as you pull, so the hold builds with the load – more weight, more bite. Lifting hooks are faster between sets but sit at a fixed point on the bar. Wrapping takes a few sets to learn and then gives you the firmer connection of the two.
Colour That Stays Where You Left It
A saturated pink is the hardest colour to keep looking right, because bright dye is what fades first on cotton. This one is dyed through rather than surface-coated. The first hand wash releases a little loose pigment, and after that the tone holds – including against sweat, which is what usually dulls bright training kit.
Bright Pink Lifting Straps – Frequently Asked Questions
How tight should the wrap be?
Tight enough that the band does not shift when you take the first pull, and no tighter. Roll the bar towards you until you feel it lock, then lift. If you are cranking it down before every rep, you are compensating for too few turns rather than too little tension.
Do I still need chalk?
For most pulling work, no – that is the point of the strap. Chalk still helps on the sets you deliberately do bare-handed, and on bars where your palm sits directly on the knurling. The two are not alternatives so much as tools for different sets.
Are lifting straps allowed in competition?
It depends on the sport. Powerlifting federations do not allow them on the platform, strongman events often do, and no gym floor cares. If you compete in powerlifting, train some heavy sets without so the bare grip keeps up.
Will bright pink clash with black gym kit?
It is meant to sit against black rather than blend in – the whole point of a saturated colour is that it reads as chosen. If you want the colour without the volume, the light pink is the muted version and the beige is the quiet one.
