Men's Gray Workout Shorts Classic – Cotton Blend with a Raw-Cut Hem

The Classic in gray are men's gym shorts made from a marled blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, with the Gym Generation logo embroidered on the leg in black. The fabric is brushed on the inside, the elastic waistband pulls in with a thick drawcord, and the cut-off legs finish in a raw-cut hem. Two open side pockets keep keys and cards within reach. Available in sizes S to XL; they run slightly small.

80/20 cotton blend with a brushed back

The Classic uses the same 80% cotton and 20% polyester sweat fabric as our joggers and hoodies. The back of the fabric is brushed, which is what makes it softer against the skin than plain jersey. Cotton gives less than a polyester-elastane blend, but it keeps its feel and its shape through a lot of washes.

The marled gray is light enough to pair with almost anything – a tank top, a tee, a hoodie or a pump cover. The black embroidered logo sits low on the leg, with a woven brand label at the side of the waistband.

The waistband is elastic and pulls in with a thick drawcord, so you set the width yourself. Both side pockets are open, with no zips, which means keys and a card go in and out fast between sets.

What is the difference between the Classic and the V8 Premium shorts?
The fabric. The Classic is a cotton short: 80% cotton, 20% polyester, brushed inside, with the raw-cut look. The V8 Premium is polyester with elastane – lighter, stretchier and quicker to dry. Take the Classic for comfort and everyday wear, the V8 for sweaty sessions.

What does the raw-cut hem mean?
The legs are cut off at the bottom and left unhemmed, so the edge frays slightly over time. That is by design, not a fault, and it is what gives the Classic its look.

How does the sizing come up?
The Classic fit is relaxed rather than close, and the shorts run slightly small – if you are between sizes, or you do not want them tight, take one size up. Our model is 185 cm, 92 kg and wears L. The drawcord sets the waist from there.
