The Classic is made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester – the same soft, hard-wearing sweat fabric as our long training pants and hoodies. The inside is brushed, so the fabric sits particularly comfortably against the skin. It wears comfortably, stands up to regular training and looks good in the gym as well as off duty. Unlike the stretchy polyester models, the priority here is comfort rather than maximum stretch – the right pick for strength training, calmer sessions and the walk home from the gym.

Cut, Waistband and Details

These shorts sit with a relaxed, sporty fit that does not restrict you on squats, lunges and leg work. The legs are cut off at the bottom and finish in a frayed raw-cut hem – a deliberately relaxed detail that makes them recognisable at a glance. The elasticated waistband with its thick threaded drawcord cinches exactly where you want it and sits securely without digging in. Two open side pockets take keys, cards or your phone; the shorts have no zips.
