Circle Technology: No Sieve, No Ball, No Lumps

A metal ball or a plastic sieve is how most shakers fight lumps – two extra parts that get lost, rattle and clog. This one relies on its shape instead: a smooth inner wall throughout and a rounded base. Shaking sets the liquid swirling in a circle, with no edge where powder could collect. Whey mixes smooth in about ten seconds, and even casein, the powder cheap cups give up on, leaves no residue at the bottom.

Leak-Proof Here Means Two Barriers, Not One

The lid screws onto the cup and seals there with a ring that runs all the way round. The drinking opening above it sits behind a flip cap that clicks audibly when it closes. That puts two separate seals between your shake and your gym bag, which is why the cup survives a backpack lying on its side. The flip cap opens with one hand, without taking off the screw lid.

Made in the EU, Certified Rather Than Promised

The cup is made entirely from polypropylene and manufactured in the EU to ISO 9001 standard. Its PZH certificate confirms it’s safe for contact with food, and it contains no BPA. The material is odour-neutral and scratch-resistant: it won’t pick up the smell of berry whey, won’t stain from pre-workout and won’t go cloudy after months in your gym bag. It’s rated from 0 to 80 °C and dishwasher-safe.

700 ml takes two scoops of whey plus around 500 ml of water, with room to shake. A measuring scale up to 600 ml is embossed on the back in 100 ml steps with intermediate marks, so you can measure water to within 50 ml without a jug. The cup narrows towards the base, so it sits securely even in wet hands and fits standard car cup holders. Protein Shaker: Frequently Asked Questions

Is the shaker really leak-proof?
Yes, as long as the screw lid is put on straight and the flip cap is clicked shut. If the lid sits crooked, no thread will help – that goes for any shaker. Carbonated drinks don’t belong in it, because the pressure defeats any seal.

How many servings of protein powder fit in 700 ml?
Two scoops of whey plus around 500 ml of water fit comfortably. If you mix with milk or use a weight gainer, fill it to two thirds at most so there’s room left to shake.

Do I need a mixing ball as well?
No. Circle Technology replaces the ball and sieve, which is why no insert is included. A ball added separately would disrupt the circular flow rather than support it.

Is the shaker made of metal?
No. The matt black surface looks metallic, but the material is polypropylene. In daily use that’s the advantage: it’s lighter, stays dry on the outside with cold drinks and is dishwasher-safe.

How hot can the liquid be?
The material withstands 0 to 80 °C. Water straight from the kettle is too hot; up to lukewarm is fine. Warm liquid builds up pressure in a closed cup, so leave the flip cap open.

Does it stay taste-neutral?
Yes. Polypropylene doesn’t absorb smells or flavours, even after months of vanilla whey – provided you rinse it after training rather than leaving it closed in your bag.
