Trucker Cap 'Urban' in Dark Grey – Gym Cap with Mesh Back

Mesh on the side panels and the back

Only the two front panels are fabric, and everything behind them is mesh. That leaves the larger part of the crown open, so heat escapes through the sides and the neck instead of gathering underneath. A baseball cap, by contrast, has a crown that is closed all the way round.

Front panels in 50% cotton and 50% polyester

Both front panels are half cotton and half polyester. The cotton absorbs moisture at the forehead while the polyester keeps the panels in shape rather than letting them stretch out.

Curved brim with a snapback closure

Several rows of parallel stitching run across the brim and hold it in its pre-shaped curve, so it shades the sun from the side as well. At the back the snapback strap clicks into fixed steps, from narrow to wide.
