The Norway flag patch from Gym Generation is an embroidered hook and loop patch with the Norwegian flag: a blue, white-edged cross on a red field, framed by a red border. It measures approx. 8 × 5 cm, and its hook backing holds on a backpack, jacket, gym bag or any gear with a loop panel.

The Design: The Flag of Norway

The blue cross edged in white on a red field has been Norway's flag since 1821. Its off-centre cross links it to the other Nordic flags, while the colour combination makes it unmistakable. On the patch every area is densely embroidered, so red, white and blue stay clearly separated. Is the patch attached with Velcro or sewn on?
It's attached with Velcro. The back carries the hook side, which is why it's also called a Velcro or morale patch. If you want it fixed for good, you can also sew around the edge.

Where does the patch hold?
Anywhere there's a loop side: the loop panels on Gym Generation backpacks, jackets, caps or tactical gear. It won't hold on smooth fabric without a counterpart.

How is it different from the Danish and Swedish flags?
All three carry the Nordic cross. Denmark has a white cross on red, Sweden a yellow cross on blue. Norway is the only one of the three with a blue, white-edged cross on red. Its neighbours are available as the Denmark Flag Patch and the Sweden Flag Patch.
