The Mountains Are Calling Patch – Embroidered Velcro Patch with a Wolf
The Mountains Are Calling patch from Gym Generation is a crest-shaped hook and loop patch: a howling wolf in front of a large full moon, with a mountain silhouette and the words The Mountains Are Calling below, embroidered in blue, black and white. It measures approx. 8 cm, and its hook backing sticks to the loop panels on backpacks, jackets and outdoor gear.
The Design: The Call of the Mountains
A howling wolf against the full moon, a mountain silhouette and two birds in the night sky – set in a crest shape with a blue border. The lettering quotes John Muir's well-known line: The mountains are calling and I must go. Densely embroidered and high in contrast, made for hiking, trekking and the pull of the outdoors.
The Mountains Are Calling Patch FAQ
Velcro patch or sew-on patch?
It's a Velcro patch, also known as a morale patch: the back is the hook side of a hook and loop fastener and sticks to any loop surface. No sewing – attach, remove and swap it in seconds. For a permanent fix, you can also sew it on around the edge.
What shape is the patch?
It has a crest or shield shape with a blue border and measures approx. 8 cm. The design fills the whole shield.
Are there more outdoor patches?
