Can I spar in these gloves?
No. Bag gloves are built compact to protect your knuckles, not your partner's head. For sparring, you need a bulkier, closed glove with a wrist closure – which is exactly what the leather boxing gloves are built for.

How are they different from MMA gloves?
It comes down to the cut. Here your fingers are enclosed in one compartment, so you can punch but not grab. The MMA gloves have open fingers and a free palm, but less padding on the back of the hand.

Can I use them for pad work?
