Women's Weightlifting Belt in Pink – Neoprene Gym Belt with Velcro Closure
A light lifting belt with a mesh face, padded ribs and a wide Velcro band. It sits anatomically around the waist, adjusts anywhere along the band and comes in three sizes from 75 to 105 cm. Where a stiff leather belt is built for the one max attempt, this one is built for the training you actually do every week.
Core Stability Through Counter-Pressure
The belt gives your abdominal wall a surface to push out against. That counter-pressure stabilises your core from the inside and works on the lifts where your torso has to stay upright under load – squats, deadlifts, heavy overhead work, from roughly 80% of your max upwards. On isolation exercises and warm-up sets it does nothing, and it will not make you stronger either.
Mesh Face Over Padded Ribs
The outer face is a mesh fabric stretched over vertical padded ribs. The ribs spread the load across the full width instead of concentrating it on one edge, which is why the belt doesn't dig into your ribs at the bottom of a squat. The piping along the top and bottom edge binds the layers so the edge holds its shape and doesn't curl.
Flexible Neoprene, Infinitely Adjustable
Neoprene gives, leather doesn't. In practice that means this belt tightens and loosens anywhere along the band, sits comfortably through a full session and needs no breaking in. A stiff leather belt gives you more support on a single maximal attempt – and becomes uncomfortable the longer you wear it. We carry both, and the load decides which one you want.
Wide Velcro Band with Metal Buckle
The Velcro band runs through a metal buckle and folds back on itself. You pull it tighter or looser set by set instead of being tied to a row of holes – open it between sets, cinch it down before the next one.
Weightlifting Belt – Frequently Asked Questions
Weightlifting belt, lifting belt, gym belt – are they the same thing?
In everyday use, yes. Weightlifting belt is the precise term, lifting belt and gym belt are the shorthand. The real difference is not the name but the material: neoprene with Velcro for regular training, leather with a prong buckle for max-effort work.
How do I find the right size?
Measure your waist where you actually wear the belt – not at the narrowest point, but roughly at navel height. S fits 75–85 cm, M fits 85–95 cm, L fits 95–105 cm. Between two sizes, take the smaller one: a belt is supposed to sit tight, not comfortably.
How tight should it be?
Tight enough that you can still draw a full breath into your belly, and no tighter. If you cannot brace properly, it is too tight; if your abdominal wall never touches the material, it is too loose. Most people end up loosening it between sets and pulling it back down before the next one.
What is it made of?
85% neoprene for the flex, 10% nylon for shape retention and 5% metal for the buckle. The outer face is a mesh fabric over padded ribs.
Is it only for women?
The cut and the colour are aimed at women, but technically it works for anyone. The only thing that matters is your waist measurement.
Who shouldn't buy this belt?
Powerlifters going for a max in competition – a 9 or 10 mm leather belt is the right tool there. And anyone looking for a belt to replace technique: it supports a clean lift, it doesn't produce one.
