The pink is clearly aimed at a feminine look, but the layout and the dimensions are the same as every other Maverick. Anyone who likes the colour can carry it. If you want something quieter, the same bag comes in black, grey, beige, olive, black camo and acid wash.

Does a light pink mark easily?
The shell is coated and water-repellent, so splashes and light marks come off with a damp cloth. A pale colour will always show wear sooner than black – that's the trade for a bag you can actually spot in your luggage. Wipe it down occasionally and it stays clean for a long time.

What actually fits inside?
A full routine: shampoo and conditioner in travel sizes, cleanser, moisturiser, deodorant, a toothbrush and paste, plus brushes and small items in the mesh pockets. For a weekend it is more than enough. It is a soft bag rather than a hard case, so a large collection of glass bottles is better off elsewhere.

Is it waterproof?
The outside repels water, it doesn't seal it out. Splashes stay outside, the coated lining catches spills from within, and the bag is not made to be submerged or left standing in water.
