Explorer No Pain No Gain – 45L Gym Backpack Special Edition for Training and Travel
The Explorer No Pain No Gain by Gym Generation is the special edition of the range: 45 litres in rugged 900D nylon oxford, black with red zips, red stitching and a removable No Pain No Gain patch. Built to the standard of tactical gear and made for the gym, training and travel – a statement piece that stands apart from the standard models. Inside everything has its place: the large main compartment opens like a suitcase and takes a full training kit or a week of luggage, the middle compartment holds your shoes, a padded back sleeve protects your laptop, and two side pockets hold a bottle or shaker up to 1000 ml. Measurements 48 × 34 × 29 cm, carry-on size. The Explorer is part of the gym backpack range from Gym Generation and comes with a velcro patch panel and patches included.
Special Edition – Black and Red, With Something to Say
The No Pain No Gain edition takes the proven Explorer build and gives it a look you will not mistake. Red runs through the zips and the stitching against deep black, and the patch on the front says the rest. This is the pack for anyone who does not want a standard model but something that carries their own attitude. Gym Generation has been a Swiss gymwear brand since 2013. Shipped from Switzerland.
Built to Tactical Standards
What separates the Explorer from an ordinary gym backpack is how it is built. The material, the MOLLE system and the carry harness all come from a world where gear takes heavy loads and hard use for years. The 900D nylon oxford is dense, abrasion-resistant and bar-tacked at the stress points. Inside sits a coated lining you can wipe out – not a fashion product that wears through after one season, but a pack that stays with you as long as you train.
Enough Compartments, Each With a Job
The middle compartment takes your shoes, away from the fresh change of clothes. The large main compartment opens like a suitcase – you pack flat and see everything at a glance – and carries a mesh organiser with a zip pocket inside. At the front sits a compartment with an organiser panel for cables, charger and small items. So after a workout you are not reaching between trainers for the shaker.
Padded Laptop Sleeve at the Back
The back holds its own padded sleeve for a laptop or documents, secured with a velcro tab and shielded by the back padding. Your device rides against your spine, separate from the rest of your luggage. Passport and valuables sit hidden and safe here.
A Week as Carry-On – Including the Away Competition
At 48 × 34 × 29 cm the Explorer sits within the carry-on format of most airlines, and 45 litres covers a whole week. For a competition you have to fly to: shoes, clothes, food and laptop in one pack, no waiting at the belt, no checked-bag fee. Off the plane and straight to the venue. Do one trip on hand luggage alone and you will not want to go back.
Laser-Cut MOLLE and Carry Harness
The front and sides carry a laser-cut MOLLE system: rows of loops cut straight into the fabric for pouches, carabiners or accessories, flatter and cleaner than stitched webbing. The carry harness behind it is built for a full load: thickly padded S-curve straps, a chest strap, a hip belt to shift the weight and load-lifter straps that pull the pack in against your back. The ventilated mesh back panel cuts down on sweat. You carry it by the shoulder straps, the top handle or the two reinforced D-ring loops, and two rows of compression straps pull the pack down to day-trip size.
Your Patch Panel, Your Statement
The No Pain No Gain patch arrives fitted to the velcro panel on the front – and it comes straight off again if you want something else there. Our patch collection runs to more than a hundred designs, from country flags to your own motifs. The pack stays the same, the look moves with you.
Explorer No Pain No Gain – Frequently Asked Questions
What sets the No Pain No Gain edition apart from the other models?
The build is the same rugged construction as the standard Explorer – what changes is the finish. Red zips and red stitching against deep black, plus the patch on the front panel, for anyone who wants to step away from the standard colours.
Is the No Pain No Gain patch removable?
Yes. It sits on the velcro panel and lifts off whenever you like. The patch collection in the shop runs to more than a hundred designs if you want to change the look.
What makes the Explorer better built than other gym backpacks?
900D nylon oxford fabric, a laser-cut MOLLE system cut straight into the fabric and a carry harness with hip and load-lifter straps – components designed for heavy loads and years of use rather than for a season.
Can I stow my shoes in the Explorer?
Yes. The middle main compartment holds them, separate from the fresh clothes in the large compartment, and the coated lining wipes clean afterwards.
Does the Explorer work as hand luggage?
Yes. At 48 × 34 × 29 cm it sits within the usual hand luggage rules of many airlines, and there is room for clothes, shoes and food for several days. Since every airline sets its own dimensions, it is worth a quick look at theirs beforehand.
Does a laptop fit in the backpack?
Yes. The back holds a padded sleeve with a velcro closure for standard 15 to 16 inch laptops, sitting against your spine and separate from the main compartment.
Is the Explorer comfortable to carry fully loaded?
That is what the carry harness is built for. Padded S-curve shoulder straps, a hip belt to shift the load and load-lifter straps keep the weight close to the body. Fully packed, the load spreads noticeably better than on a training backpack without a hip belt and load system.
