The olive Molon Labe patch from Gym Generation is a round, embroidered hook and loop patch: the Spartan helmet with the words Molon Labe, in olive green. It measures Ø 8 cm, and its hook backing sticks to any loop surface on a backpack, jacket or gym bag.

The Design: Molon Labe

The Spartan helmet with the words Molon Labe. “Molon labe” – Greek for “come and take them” – goes back to Leonidas at Thermopylae and stands for resolve. This version is round and densely embroidered; the olive green blends into olive, coyote and sand setups.

Velcro patch or sew-on patch?
It's a Velcro patch, also known as a morale patch: the back is the hook side of a hook and loop fastener and sticks to any loop surface. No sewing – attach, remove and swap it in seconds. For a permanent fix, you can also sew it on around the edge.

What does Molon Labe mean?
The Greek phrase means “come and take them” and is attributed to the Spartan king Leonidas at Thermopylae. It stands for defiance and resolve.

Does the Molon Labe patch come in other colours?
Yes. It also comes in navy, bronze and black with the US flag. More designs are in the hook and loop patches collection.
