The Cargo Gym Shorts in black are men's training shorts made from 100% cotton in a light, thin weave. Two side pockets close with a zip, the two cargo pockets on the leg with Velcro, and the elastic waistband pulls in with a drawcord. A white Gym Generation logo print sits on the leg. Do the shorts stretch?
No, and that is by design. Pure cotton contains no elastane, so the movement comes from the relaxed cut and the drawcord waistband. If you want stretch in the fabric itself, a polyester-elastane short is the better fit.

Do the pockets close?
Yes, all four. Two zip side pockets for a phone and keys, plus two Velcro leg pockets for extra storage.

How do these differ from the Maverick cargo shorts?
Fabric and closures. These are 100% cotton in a light, thin weave, with zip side pockets and Velcro leg pockets. The Maverick uses a heavier cotton-polyester sweat fabric with open side pockets and press-stud leg pockets – more substance, less airflow.

How does the sizing come up?
True to size, in sizes S to XXL, so the range runs a size further than most of our shorts. Order the size you normally wear; the drawcord sets the waist from there.

How should I wash them?
Cold to lukewarm, and air dry rather than putting them through a hot tumble dryer. Pure cotton can shrink slightly if it is washed too hot.
