Gym Belt With Velcro – Light Nylon for High-Volume Training
This gym belt is a light 100% nylon belt with a Velcro closure, a consistent 10 cm high, in full all black. Built for high-volume training: squats, presses, machine work and bodybuilding sets, where you open and close between sets and want core stability without strapping into a stiff powerlifting belt. Available in sizes S to XL.
For anyone training in the gym, at home or in functional work who wants core stability and still wants to keep their pace and freedom of movement. Shipped from Switzerland.
Velcro Closure With a Steel Roller Buckle
The closure is the heart of this belt. The wide Velcro strap runs through a solid steel roller buckle that holds the tension and stops the belt opening under load. You put it on in seconds, pull it tight and fine-tune it anywhere along the strap. To release, you pull the loose end of the Velcro and the roller lets go, with no threading and no lever. That is what makes it strong on supersets, drop sets and sessions with constant changes of exercise, where a lever or prong closure only slows you down.
10 cm High, 6.35 mm Thin
The belt is 10 cm high all the way round and, at 6.35 mm, deliberately slim. The even height sits flush against the torso and gives you a compact, stable surface to build tension against, without pressing into one spot. The thin nylon keeps it flexible enough to move with you through every exercise instead of sitting stiff in the way.
Built for Volume Training and Working Sets
This is your belt for high-volume hypertrophy and bodybuilding work: squats at working weight, shoulder and overhead press, rows, machine exercises and functional training, wherever you want extra core stability.
Maximal attempts, 1RM work and powerlifting call for a different build. That job belongs to a stiff leather weightlifting belt with a lever or prong closure. This belt is made for training with pace and volume.
All Black, Start to Finish
Blackened buckle, black nylon, black Gym Generation rubber logo. No branding noise, no colour that does not belong. Even the roller buckle is blacked out instead of catching the light.
Gym Belt – Frequently Asked Questions
What is a gym belt good for in training?
A gym belt helps you build more core stability. You actively press against the belt, which gives you a more stable base on squats, presses, rows and machine exercises whenever you want extra hold.
What is the difference between a gym belt and a weightlifting belt?
A nylon gym belt is lighter, more flexible and quick to adjust through Velcro, which suits high-volume gym and bodybuilding work. A leather weightlifting belt is stiffer, thicker and locked shut by a lever or prong, built for maximal loads in powerlifting. Two tools for two kinds of training.
How does the closure work?
Pull the belt to the tension you want, press the Velcro down, done. The steel roller holds it there. To open it, pull the loose end and the roller releases. No threading, no lever, which is what you notice between changing exercises and short rests.
Is the belt suitable for heavy deadlifts and maximal strength?
For heavy deadlifts, 1RM attempts and powerlifting, wear a stiff leather or lever belt that holds securely under maximal load. This belt is made for high-volume training with moderate to heavy working weights.
How tight should the belt sit?
Tight enough to support the core, but not so tight that your breathing or movement is restricted. You should be able to breathe into your belly under control and actively build tension against the belt.
How do I care for the belt?
Wash it by hand and let it air dry. Not in the machine and not on a radiator, so the nylon and the Velcro keep holding reliably. You will find more models under our weightlifting belts.
