Explorer – Women's Tactical Gym Backpack 45L in Cotton Candy Pink for Training, HYROX and Travel
The Explorer in Cotton Candy is a women's gym backpack that looks like a statement piece and is built like tactical gear. Soft pastel pink, white accents in the laser-cut MOLLE, pink mesh pockets. Inside, 45 litres that open suitcase-wide: a compartment for your shoes, a padded pocket for your laptop and two side pockets for a shaker and bottle up to 1000 ml. 48 × 34 × 29 cm, carry-on friendly. Retire the Tote Bag
A tote bag looks great until you pack it. Your shoes land on your fresh top, the shaker tips over, and ten minutes in, everything is dragging on one shoulder. The Explorer sorts that out: shoes in their own compartment, shaker in the side pocket, the weight on both shoulders and your hips. Everything has its place, and you carry it all day without giving it a thought.

Cotton Candy
A soft, light pink that feels fresh rather than sugary. White shows through the laser-cut slots, the mesh pockets add a stronger pink, and black zippers, buckles and patches give the pastel clean edges. A pink gym backpack that turns heads at the gym and still looks like proper gear.
Materials and Construction
The fabric, MOLLE system and carry harness come from the tactical world, where gear has to survive years of hard use. The 900D nylon Oxford is densely woven, abrasion-resistant and bar-tacked at the stress points, and the KAM zippers run smoothly even when the pack is full. The laser-cut MOLLE is cut straight into the fabric – flatter and cleaner than sewn-on webbing.
Fits Narrow Shoulders Too
Shoulder, chest and hip straps adjust tightly, so the Explorer sits securely and close to your body even on a slimmer frame. The hip belt takes load off your shoulders, and the ventilated mesh back panel cuts down on sweat. When you carry less, the compression straps pull it down to day-pack size.
Your Patch Panel
A hook-and-loop patch panel sits on the front with two patches: the Spartan logo and the Gym Generation lettering, both in black and especially crisp against the pastel. Any patch with a hook backing sticks to it, and you will find more designs in our patch collection.
Is the Explorer Cotton Candy a women's backpack?
The colour is clearly made for women; the build is the same as on every other Explorer – nothing has been scaled back. As a women's gym backpack, it covers the gym, the office and travel in a single pack.
Will it fit me if I'm on the petite side?
Yes – the straps tighten enough for it to sit securely on narrow shoulders. At 48 cm tall, though, it is still a full-size 45-litre backpack, so on a very petite frame it will look sizeable.
Can I take it to the office?
That is exactly what the padded back pocket is for: laptop and papers stay separate from your training kit. With its light pastel shade and clean laser-cut front, it looks less sporty than a classic tactical backpack.
Is it suitable for HYROX and CrossFit?
Yes. Shoes, compression kit, food and shaker all go in separately. The HYROX packing list above shows what goes where on race day.
Does the light pink get dirty quickly?
A light shade shows signs of use sooner than black. The coated 900D nylon wipes clean easily, though: a damp cloth and a little mild soapy water remove most marks, ideally while they are still fresh.
Does a laptop fit?
Yes. There is a padded pocket on the back with a hook-and-loop fastening for most 15- to 16-inch laptops, close to your body and separate from the main compartment.
Does it work as carry-on luggage?
At 48 × 34 × 29 cm it sits within the carry-on limits of many airlines, and 45 litres are enough for a week without a suitcase. Since every airline sets its own dimensions, it is worth checking theirs beforehand.
Can I go hiking with it?
For day hikes, yes: the hip belt and load lifters carry the weight, and the side pockets keep your bottles within reach. The fabric is water-repellent but not waterproof – in steady rain, add a rain cover.
What is the difference between the Explorer and the Adventurer?
Both have the same volume and carry system. The Explorer has laser-cut MOLLE and a full hook-and-loop patch panel – cleaner and more modern. The Adventurer uses sewn-on webbing and hook-and-loop strips – the classic tactical look.

Great backpack and the perfect size for all of my personal tactical and work items. This is a great EDC pack when you do not need the much larger multi day packs. You can add on other tactical after market accessories. As a vet I recommend this backpack.
