Lifting Straps with Wrist Support – Padded Cuff and Silicone Grip Band
Two jobs in one strap: a roughly 30 cm pulling band with woven silicone grip stripes that wraps around the bar, and a wide padded wrist cuff that closes over a metal square ring and Velcro. The band takes the load off your grip, the cuff keeps the wrist stable, and you carry one piece of kit instead of two. Black throughout, built from a neoprene-cotton mix with nylon reinforcement, adjustable to any wrist. Sold as a pair.
Grip Relief and Wrist Support in One Piece
This is what separates the model from plain lifting straps. The band wraps the bar and takes over part of the hold, so your forearms stop being the limit on heavy pulls. At the same time the wide padded cuff sits around the wrist and steadies the joint under load. You are not stacking a strap and a separate wrist wrap on the same hand – both sit on one band and work together.
Woven Silicone Grip Stripes on the Band
The 30 cm band carries silicone stripes woven into the fabric rather than printed on top. Wrapped two or three turns around the bar and pulled tight, the band bites instead of creeping, which is what you notice on the fifth rep of a heavy set when your hands are wet. On plain webbing that is exactly where the wrap starts to give.
Metal Square Ring Instead of Velcro Alone
The cuff feeds through a metal square ring and folds back onto itself before the Velcro closes. The ring takes the pull, so the hook-and-loop is only holding the fold rather than the full load – and you can set the tension anywhere between light support and locked down.
A 30 cm Band with Nylon Reinforcement
Shorter than a classic 59 cm strap by design: the cuff already sits on the wrist, so the band only needs enough length to wrap the bar. The nylon reinforcement in the neoprene-cotton weave is there to resist stretching, which is what keeps a wrap tight set after set instead of loosening as the band gives.
Lifting Straps with Wrist Support – Frequently Asked Questions
How do I put them on?
Cuff around the wrist, feed the Velcro through the metal ring and close it as tight as you want the support. Then wrap the band two to three times around the bar and pull tight. As you pull, the wrap tightens itself.
Are lifting straps and wrist wraps the same thing?
No. Lifting straps wrap the bar and hold the weight for your grip. Wrist wraps only brace the joint and do nothing for your grip – they belong on pressing movements. This model does both jobs, which is why it works on heavy pulls.
Do they work for pressing movements too?
Not really. The band needs something to wrap around and something to pull against, so bench and overhead work get nothing out of it. For pressing, a dedicated wrist wrap is the right tool.
Can I use them on cable machines and dumbbells?
Yes. The band wraps around any handle you can get it around – barbells, dumbbells, pull-up bars, cable attachments. On very thick handles you get fewer turns, which means slightly less bite.
Do they come as a pair?
Yes, two pieces, one for each hand.
Do they fit smaller wrists?
Yes. The ring-and-Velcro closure adjusts continuously, so the cuff pulls tight on a narrow wrist and still opens wide enough for a heavy one. One size covers both.
