It stands for trust and a conviction you don't hide. The black version goes for the strongest contrast: white on black stays readable from several meters away and stands out clearly on black, gray and navy backpacks. If you prefer something warmer and earthier, go for the In God We Trust Patch in Gold.

In God We Trust Patch Black FAQ

Black or gold: what's the difference?
Only the color. Black with white lettering is all about contrast and reads well from a distance, while gold with brown lettering on sand looks warmer and suits earthy tones. Size, embroidery and hook backing are identical.

Do I need to sew the patch on?
No. The entire back is covered with the hook side of a hook and loop fastener, which is why it's also called a Velcro or morale patch. Press it onto a loop panel and peel it off whenever you like. If you want it fixed permanently, stitch it down around the edge.

Will the patch stick to regular fabric?
Only where there's a loop side to grip, such as the loop panels on Gym Generation backpacks or caps and vests with Velcro. It won't hold on smooth fabric without a counterpart.

Which patches go with it?
On a larger loop panel, pair it with flags, symbols or other lettering to build your own setup.
